GRACE Project Drug Awareness app for iPhone and iPad

The purpose of this app is to provide drug awareness and prevention resources to help educate the community on the various things they would need to know to help stop drug abuse. This will include information geared toward parents, myths about drugs, substance descriptions and effects, current trends, and much more. Various articles will be used, video education and testimonials, and the use of push notifications when the local authorities have some specific information they need to get out to the public. Resources of local agencies and events will also be listed.

Our current epidemic drug overdose situation has prompted us to take a stronger look at drug prevention versus dealing with the aftermath. This app will allow parents, students, etc. to find information in a secure and private setting versus having to attend a public seminar which they may not have time for or want to be seen at.
